Fans these days keep thinking friendship means homosexuality. WTF FANS?!
Well, to be honest, fans these days keep also thinking that great enmity, eternal rivalry, sibling love, or just sharing one look during the story means homosexuality. Don't take it so seriously.
I admit some people are dellusional, but not all fans are stupid, you know? She drew StevexBucky because SHE LIKES IT. It doesn't matter if it's not cannon, if some characters have children, etc. That's why it's called fanart, because the fans can do whatever they want. There are a lot of people who pair Steve with other women besides Natasha, and I don't see anyone complaining even when it's not cannon; so why complain about this one? Are you homofobic, sir?
No, I've just seen a lot of picks and drawings about two people and characters who are normally straight actually having a sexual or homophobic relationship with each other, like Batman and Robin, Sora and Riku, and just recently, Kyle and Cartman.
I understand, but I stand by my point that there's no good reason to complain about this picture. Let's forget they are both men for a moment and just focus on the facts: a fan likes two characters from a series/movie, who she thinks should be together/are cute together/will put together for the lulz, so she draws them together. Nothing wrong with that. Get my point? The fact that it's a homosexual relationship between two men is beside the point.
